We are looking for a highly experienced and practical Chief Battery Technology Officer (CBTO) to lead Exoben’s global battery technology.

In this role, you will define how our battery systems are designed, developed and improved over time. You will oversee the full battery stack including cell chemistry, pack systems, thermal performance and battery management systems.

You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing and product teams to ensure that battery technology moves from research into real products that can scale globally.

This role requires deep technical understanding combined with strong leadership and execution.

Key Responsibilities

You will define and lead Exoben’s battery technology strategy across LithioX™ and SodioX™ platforms.

You will oversee all battery engineering including cell design, materials, thermal systems and battery management systems.

You will guide research and development to improve energy density, safety, cycle life and cost efficiency.

You will work with manufacturing teams to ensure battery designs are scalable and ready for production.

You will ensure all battery systems meet global safety and regulatory standards.

You will support integration of battery systems into energy storage, solar and EV infrastructure products.

You will evaluate new technologies and materials that can improve performance or reduce cost.

You will identify technical risks and ensure strong solutions are implemented early.

You will build and lead a high-performing global battery team.

You will represent Exoben in technical discussions with partners, investors and regulators.

Qualifications

You have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s or PhD is strongly preferred.

Have 15 years or more of experience in battery technology or energy storage.

You have deep understanding of lithium-ion and sodium-ion systems.

Have experience leading engineering or research teams.

Understand how to move technology from research into large-scale production.

You are a strong decision-maker with clear technical judgment.

Able to communicate complex ideas in a simple way.

Why This Role Matters

This role is at the core of Exoben’s technology.

You define how our batteries perform, how safe they are and how competitive they become.

Your leadership directly impacts every product we build.
