The Chief Solar Technology Officer leads how Exoben designs, builds and scales solar solutions for real-world use.

Job Description

We are looking for a practical and forward-thinking Chief Solar Technology Officer (CSTO) to lead Exoben’s solar technology globally.

In this role, you will be responsible for the design, performance and deployment of ExoSolar™ systems across different environments.

Ensure that solar systems integrate smoothly with energy storage and EV infrastructure, forming a complete and reliable energy solution.

Work closely with battery, energy storage and engineering teams to deliver solar solutions that are efficient, durable and scalable.

This role focuses on real-world performance, system integration and long-term reliability.

Key Responsibilities

You will define and lead Exoben’s global solar technology strategy across residential, commercial and utility-scale systems.

Oversee the design and performance of ExoSolar™ panels and solar systems.

Ensure strong integration between solar generation, energy storage and EV charging infrastructure.

Guide engineering teams on system design, efficiency and performance optimization.

Ensure solar systems operate reliably in different environments, including high heat, dust and varying weather conditions.

Work with operations teams to ensure solar projects are delivered on time and perform as expected.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety requirements and regulatory frameworks.

Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, durability and cost.

Support expansion into new markets by adapting solar systems to local conditions and regulations.

Work with suppliers and partners to ensure quality components and materials.

Build and lead a strong global solar engineering team.

Qualifications

You have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related field. A Master’s degree is an advantage. A PhD is preferred.

Have 15 years or more of experience in solar energy systems or renewable energy.

You have strong understanding of photovoltaic systems, inverters and solar integration.

Experience delivering solar projects from design to real-world deployment.

Understand performance, reliability and operational challenges in different environments.

You are practical, detail-oriented and focused on results.

You are a strong leader with clear communication skills.
