Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Chief Legal Officer (CLO) to lead Exoben’s global legal function.

In this role, you will oversee all legal matters across the company, including corporate governance, contracts, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

You will work closely with the executive team to support business decisions, manage legal risks, and ensure that all operations follow applicable laws in every market.

You will also play a key role in structuring investments, partnerships, and future transactions.

This is a senior leadership role that requires strong legal expertise and practical business understanding.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all legal activities across Exoben, ensuring the company operates within legal and regulatory frameworks.

Oversee corporate governance, including board matters, policies, and legal structure.

Manage all contracts, agreements, and legal documentation across the business.

Ensure compliance with laws and regulations in all operating regions.

Work closely with the compliance and regulatory teams to manage legal risks.

Support capital raising, investor agreements, and corporate transactions.

Advise leadership on legal implications of business decisions.

Oversee intellectual property protection, including patents, trademarks, and licensing.

Manage disputes, litigation, and external legal counsel when needed.

You will ensure proper legal review of partnerships, suppliers, and commercial agreements.

Support expansion into new markets by managing legal and regulatory requirements.

You will build and lead a strong internal legal team.

Qualifications

You have a law degree (JD or equivalent) and are licensed to practice law.

You have 15+ years of legal experience, preferably in corporate, technology, or energy sectors.

Have strong experience in contracts, compliance, and corporate governance.

You understand international business law and regulatory environments.

Have experience working with investors, transactions, and corporate structuring.

You are practical, detail-oriented, and able to manage complex legal matters.

You are a strong communicator and advisor to senior leadership.
